James Hamilton Hay painted at least 3 pictures of Audlem. 'Audlem, Cheshire' and 'A falling star' are at the Williamson art gallery Liverpool. 'The Vale of Audlem' whereabouts unknown, referred to in above paragraph taken from Marjorie Burton's book. Christopher Hilton adds that in 1980 he saw Vale of Audlem at the Tullie House Gallery, in Carlisle and another of the front room of Taintree house
