About Us

Audlem and District History Society, usually referred to as Audlem History Society, was founded over forty years ago by residents of Audlem village who were interested to discover its local history. The Society has amassed a large archive of material relating to the people, places and events of Audlem, some of which is available on the website.

The Society meets at 7.30 pm on the third Thursday of the month between September and May (excluding December) in Audlem Scout and Guide Hall. We have speakers on a varied range of topics related to the history of Cheshire, neighbouring areas and beyond. Membership is £15 a year. Visitors are always welcome to our meetings at a £4 admission charge. Students in full-time education are welcome free of charge.
