Raven House Adderley, Hospital In WW1 - Part 1

Thanks to George Hardy for sharing this photo. Two local nurses were Mary Jameson of Hawksmoor Farm and Emma Dutton from Audlem. Anyone know which is in this photo? The men came from all over the country but some liked it so much they came back after the war. many of course were sent back to fight and were killed later. The nurse mentioned is Emmie (Emily) Dutton my Great Aunty. She was sister to my Grandad Joe (Frederick) Dutton, brothers Jack (John) and George. She never married, lived at Taintree Cottage on Stafford St (since demolished) then 51 Cheshire St. She died in 1995 aged 99 and a half ! However her gravestone incorrectly states her to be several years older on her death ! Definitely a mistake - but a nice one as she always wanted to turn 100 years old.
