Hotel Boats Prince And Mafeking - Part 1

Mr and Mrs Plant lived on 'Prince' in 1964. comment from pete marshall As far as I know it was Doris & Tom Whitley who owned and lived on 'Prince' from when they started as one of the first Hotel Boat businesses in the 50s using 'Mafeking' for the guests and living on 'Prince'. They were still living aboard when they retired to Audlem, tying up at The Old Stables where they stayed well into the 1970s. Not sure who Mr & Mrs Plant were.
