George lived at heyfields for 5 years working on the farm Barry Hawkins adds " I knew George very well because he played for Audlem Town F.C. for several years which may be of interest to the members of the History Society. He was a very talented footballer and was instrumental in Audlem Town F.C. winning the league one year and also getting to 2 cup finals in the same year." Thanks to Mrs E Huntbach
